Mafia Wars Call For Help
Are children being neglected for parents social networking pleasures?
Hello , My children live at home with their mother and all they know is her on the computer. She has a serious addiction to facebook with over 1000 friends ( or randoms ) as i call them. My children are loosing out on so much development i am trying to get social services to pay attention but as they are not in immedaite danger there is no action despite the house being dirty , no child development etc. So i am wondering am i alone ? Is there anyone else out there concerned for the health and wellbeing of a child beacuse their parents are hooked on mafia wars, fishville , farmfille yoville etc etc. Are there any support groups one can turn to for help ? ? please i am lost i understand facebook isnt all that bad , but children being neglected for it is not acceptable right ?
I'm sure children being neglected is only one of the problems social networking is causing. I dont undertstand it myself? i mean i'd rather go out and have a laugh with friends rather than talk to them over computer sitting on a fucking desk. i feel for you man good luck in

Mafia Wars - "loot gifting"?
I've been using an application on Facebook called "Mafia Wars Loot Gifting," where you can choose from a whole bunch of gifts that you don't own, and send them to your friends. [note: I am not talking about the "Gifting" option from within MW...this is a separate app]
I've sent and received a number of items through this application...but I don't see them in my loot when I actually play Mafia Wars.
My question -- is this "Mafia Wars Loot Gifting" application functional with the game, or is it just for fun? Do those items you send actually help your friends play Mafia Wars?
