eventhough I devote a large amount of of my working day on the internet actively playing video games like zynga poker or mafia wars, I still like to spend some free time to search a couple blogs now and then and I am proud to report this newest page is in actual fact quite effective and significantly more desirable than 1 / 2 the various other waste I read today , anyhow i'm going to have fun with a few hands of facebook poker

I find the people who throw time and money into things like Farmville to be foolish at absolute best, but I don’t see how the publisher is being particularly evil here, as that linked article explicitly suggests. The story you linked seems to boil down to “look at these rubes who pour resources into something I find trivial.” I’m going to guess that’s a sentiment that you and I have probably been on the opposite end of before.

    -1- Log on to Facebook
-2- On top of the page there should be a text saying Settings, being beside Logout. Hover your mouse to it, but don't click it.
-3- When you hover your mouse on top of it, there should be a list of 4 options. Choose Application Settings.
-4- There is supposed to be a small tab saying Show: nearby it. Click the dropdown bar and click Authorized.
-5- The Application List is in Alphabetical order so just scroll down to M and find Mafia Wars.
-6- Click the [X] which is found on the far right edge of the row.
-7- A popup should come up confiriming removal of Mafia Wars. Click Remove.
-8- Wait a few seconds until another popup saying Application Removed. Click Okay.
-9- You are done. Follow the above 8 steps if you are planning to remove any other Facebook Apps in the future.

On the upper left window, drag "STATUS UPDATES" above "NEWS FEED" or "LIVE FEED". That will prioritize your seeing their statuses instead of those annoying application bullets on your landing page. Also, block applications you don't & never will care about. This will help decrease the traffic of junk.

To ensure that you're not spamming your friends' walls: When you add a new app, modify setting so that is doesn't auto-post without your consent :-)
